Statute of Limitations for Product Liability

In Texas,the statute of limitations in a personal-injury case based on negligence and strict products liability is two years.Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code § 16.003(a) see also Upjohn Co. v. Freeman, 885 S.W.2d 538 (Tex. 1994). If the product liability suit involves manufacturing equipment, you must file a suit within 15 years after the product was sold. Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem.
